Poinsettias:
- Remember those volunteer hours you need to complete? For every 2 plants or wreaths you sell, you will earn one volunteer hour!
- Order forms are available at the front desk. Orders due ASAP
- Our goal this year is to sell 750 plants. We are halfway there and I am two-thirds of the way to my goal of 250 plants sold. We can definitely do this!
Holiday Sing A Long
What better way to kick off the holiday season than with an old-fashioned sing-along featuring your child! Please put on your best holiday sweater and join us on December 8th at UUFCO for a night of priceless performances from each classroom. Yes, even the Seeds will make an appearance!
Sunriver Raffle:
For the third consecutive year, the Mixon/Helgerson family is graciously allowing us to raffle off a 3 night stay at their beautiful Sunriver home. This fundraiser will support our teachers’ fund!
The Sunriver Getaway includes:
- Three-night stay at a beautiful four-bedroom/four-bath house in Sunriver!
- $100 gift card to Sunriver Brewing!
- Thank you to the Helgerson/Mixon Family for their generous donation.
More Info:
- Raffle Tickets are $10 a piece and available at the front desk.
- Flyers with details about tickets, the prize, and a QR code to view more photos of the house are also available. Please take as many as you need.
- We have added Venmo this year for your convenience.
- Ticket stubs must be returned to Growing Tree (with payment) before the Sing-A-Long on December 8th.
- The drawing will be held at the sing-along, but the winner does not need to be present to win.
- 5 tickets sold = 1 volunteer hour
Last year, we sold over 550 raffle tickets. Let’s see if we can beat that this year! As a reminder, all proceeds go directly to the year-end bonuses for our fantastic staff! Happy Selling!
Inclement Weather:
Growing Tree does not follow the Bend-La Pine School District’s Inclement Weather Policy for closures or delayed starts. Our goal is to be open. If the school district posts a closure or delay, I will typically notify all families through our Brightwheel app about Growing Tree’s status for that day.
Winter Attire:
Our classrooms go outside at least twice every day. Please ensure your child has appropriate outdoor winter weather clothing for play. We appreciate the winter clothing staying at Growing Tree Monday through Friday, going home for the weekend, and then returning on Monday. Winter clothes include:
- Snowsuit
- Boots
- Two pairs of mittens
- Hat
