Big Seed Highlights:
Archer has adjusted very well to the Big Seed routine. He is now taking longer naps and is doing a great job washing his hands before and after each meal. Archer enjoys playing with trucks and cars and stays happily engaged during playtime.
Avery has been making wonderful progress in her steps and has been enjoying playing kick with teacher assistance during outside time. Her smile has been lighting up the room as her confidence has grown, and we can’t wait to see what May brings.
Eleanor has been singing her way through April. She is a big fan of all our class songs. She starts every meal with the “thank you for our lunch” song, as well as circle-time songs.
Hudson loves circle time; he actively participates in the songs and follows along with all the movements. He is also doing a great job using signs to communicate his needs. Lately, Hudson has been especially enjoying outdoor playtime, where he loves playing in the playhouse and chasing balls.
Jack has been a great example of positivity and kindness to our friends in the class, using gentle hands and sharing with them. He has also been using new signs, such as “more” and “please,” during meals. His giggles have been missed this last week, but we can’t wait for more fun this May!
Ren has been loving the walkers we incorporated this last week of April. She was the inspiration for them as she loves to use the walls and tables as support to walk over to play with toys and friends around the room.
Sonny has adjusted beautifully to the Big Seed routine. He enjoys exploring the classroom both independently and alongside his peers. He is also beginning to take a few steps here and there, which is so exciting to see! Sonny especially loves outdoor playtime and thrives during these moments.
Theo has really been enjoying circle time this month! He loves it so much that when he wants to read a book, he grabs a flower pillow and sits just like we do during circle time. It’s wonderful to see him making that connection and recreating the experience on his own. He has also become more independent during mealtimes, bringing his plate and sippy cup to the teacher when he’s all done.
Reminders:
Outdoor exploration is an important part of our day. As the weather changes, please remember to send:
