Dear Big Seed Families,
We would like to thank everyone for attending the Parent Conferences. We enjoyed catching up with everyone.
What about this April weather!!? Our Big Seeds certainly enjoyed it. They watched the flowers in the front parking lot grow and helped water the small grass patches around our tree. Some of our Big Seeds also took home some dirt in their pockets to help them grow and become sprouts in a few months.
May:
Our May study is Down on the Farm. We can’t wait to find out what a farm is and hear the Big Seeds bring out their farm voices. We have already started hearing some “Oinks” here and there! Prepare your ears for all the noises we will discover on the farm.

May Highlights:
Elliott has been climbing to the top of the climber and lets go when he reaches the summit to show us he’s mastered it! We make sure to remind him to hold on tight.
Luca loves digging in the dirt outside and filling it up in his dump truck. He turns the truck upside down to dump dirt into another bucket. It usually spills along the way, but he still keeps trying.
Collette has recently been trying to communicate with more words instead of just signing. We love hearing her new words.
Elle has been enjoying using the magnets on the aluminum pan during free play. She puts them on the pan, returns, and tries to tell us what shape each magnet is.
Lily has been cooking for everyone in the kitchen. She will put the pots & pans on the burners to cook, and then she will plate up the food for her friends & deliver it to them.
Eliza has been working hard on trying to string the beads during free play. She lasts a little longer each time before getting frustrated and moving on to another task.
Avery has been working on putting the right-sized carrots in the shape sorting garden. She works diligently until they fit.
