Registration Fees:

The 2025 Registration Fees were due March 1st.

Sandboxes:

Thanks to the Dierking Bly family, our sandboxes have fresh sand. The kiddos were thrilled with the discovery. Thank you, Mike and Gretchen!

Spring Conferences:

The teachers are excited for conferences on April 18th. Check your email for the signup sheet. Conferences are in person only.

Sunscreen:

It is time to re-sign your sunscreen forms. A Google Docs was sent to your email. The form will also be available at your conference. Growing Tree does supply Rocky Mountain SPF 30 sunscreen for your convenience.

Snacks:

Growing Tree’s food policy is that children are not allowed to bring food into the Center. We have become lax with enforcement. We would like to ask that children finish eating before entering the Center moving forward. Thank you

Diapers:

Mountain Star Relief Nursery is having a diaper drive. If you have diapers that your child is no longer using, I’m sure they would appreciate them. You can drop them off at GT, and I will make sure they receive them. Cut off date, I believe is April 30th.

USDA Review:

Growing Tree has participated in the USDA/CACFP food program for over 27 years. Monthly, we are reimbursed a portion of our food costs for providing nutritional meals to children. Over the past seven years, GT has received over $114,000 from the CACFP to be used for purchasing and providing meals. Every three years, we are required to have a review with the State of Oregon to review our policies and procedures. The review took place on April 1-2, 2025. Participating in the program is a key indicator of a quality program. It contributes to our ability to support our mission of providing quality, affordable care to families in Deschutes County. Thanks to my entire staff who diligently complete the daily paperwork and prepare food daily at Growing Tree!

Immunization Rates:

Growing Tree’s and Deschutes County’s 2024 Immunization Rates are available for review on our website under Parents<Parent Handbook.
