Seedling Families,

Getting to know our new friends and their families this past month has been so much fun. We have been enjoying the weather and spending plenty of time outside. The little ones enjoy watching the trees sway in the breeze, and the cars and construction vehicles go by. Our mobile babies have been exploring the yard, finding leaves, crab apples, and sticks, and climbing on the steps and slides.

Colette is happiest when she can be outside in the fresh air watching the cars, people, and trees. She enjoys having plenty of room to crawl around exploring and even pulling herself up to a stand on the larger toys.

Avery prefers rolling to get where she wants to be but is starting to pull herself forward to reach things nearby. She is curious about her new friends and enjoys playing close to others.

Wesley has places to go and things to do. She is always on the move and striving to reach the next milestone. She is commando crawling but will get up on her hands and knees to rock before dropping down to go, and she even pulled herself up to a stand on the cube. She’s never too busy to circle back around for snuggles.

Kollins is easygoing and full of smiles. She enjoys her tummy time and is reaching and pulling herself forward to get to toys. She sits with support and enjoys playing with the spinners in the mirror.

Lonnie is a talker with a lot to say to anyone who stops by to ask a few questions and listen. He smiles and coos and even laughs at our jokes and silly faces. He enjoys spending time on his tummy and is starting to bat and grab toys while playing in his gym.

Wolf is a sensitive but curious little guy. He is very focused when you talk to him and tries to mimic expressions and sounds. His smile can be slightly more reserved, but it melts your heart when you get one.

Beckham is a little guy with a lot to say. He is already cooing, making several sounds, and enjoying conversation and tummy time.

We have noticed some runny noses this last week, and as we enter the cold and flu season, we know you can’t keep your tiny one home for every sniffle and cough. Here are a few things you are welcome to bring to help us keep your little one as comfortable as possible while they are with us.

  • 1: Saline nasal spray
  • 2: Nasal aspirator (Bulb)
  • 3: Boogie wipes
  • 4: Aquafor/vaseline

This is the best group of tummy-time babies we have ever had. Not a single baby is upset about being on their tummies, and most even prefer it for playtime. Excellent work, parents!

We hope everyone is feeling comfortable with the Seed room. If there are any changes or anything in their schedules that you think needs tweaking, don’t hesitate to let us know. We value your feedback.

Have a great Month!

Miss Jolene and Miss Devi
