Conferences:

Thank you for attending your child’s conference. The teachers appreciated the time spent together.

MOD Pizza:

Growing Tree Night at MOD Pizza was a success. Growing Tree received $200.28. Thank you! Also, a shout-out to Rachel Rosebrook for organizing the evening.

Teacher Appreciation Week:

We will celebrate our teachers the week of May 6th – 10th. A fun week is planned just for them. Please pick up an appreciation card at the front desk the week of April 27th to fill out and return to me. We thought it would be fun to include the classrooms this year. We would love it if your child could participate in the daily themes:

  • Monday: Cat Prints
  • Tuesday: Wear Red
  • Wednesday:Western Day
  • Thursday:Beach Day
  • Friday: PJ Day

Play Lists:

Class playlists are available on the website under the Parent Tab.

Sunscreen:

For those families that provide sunscreen, we can only apply it, according to DELC regulations. You must sign our sunscreen form and document the brand of sunscreen to be applied. Anytime you provide a different brand you will need to resign the sunscreen form. Thank you.

Swimming:

Swimmers are registered for swim lessons at Juniper pool. NOTE: DATE CHANGE

  • Swim Lessons: June 24-July 3rd. Monday – Thursday for a total of 8 lessons
  • Transportation: Growing Tree Van
  • Space is limited to 20 children.

First Friday

Growing Tree provides a parent’s night out on the First Friday of each month. This is an excellent opportunity for a date night or quiet time. The evening includes dinner, crafts, and a movie. Children should bring their pajamas. Our next First Friday is May 3, 2024. Sign up at the front desk.

  • Sign up at the front desk – space is limited.
  • Time: 5:30-10:00pm
  • Cost: $40 per child
  • Bring pajamas
  • Enjoy your evening

Helpful Hints:

  • Growing Tree is a nonprofit organization. If you are interested in serving on our Board of Directors, please speak with Tammy.
  • All clothes from home should be labeled with your child’s name.
  • Please take your child’s nap supplies home each Friday to wash and return them on Monday.
  • Check your child’s file folder on Fridays.

Blue Bag Drive:

Blue bags are available for your recyclable bottles and cans. Each sleeve of bags earns you one volunteer hour. Please drop your full blue bags at the bottle drop located at 755 NE 2nd St, Bend, OR 97701. Thank you. To date, Growing Tree has received $2000 from your recycling.
