Dear Sprout Families,

Just like that, we are gearing up for November! This month has been wonderful, getting to know everyone and building stronger connections with all of you. We have introduced some new faces who will join the Sprout 1 classroom in November, and are preparing some of our not-so-little Sprouts for their transition to the Bud room! Saying goodbye to Cadence, Declan, Grady, and Jaxon will be tough; it’s been such a pleasure learning their personalities and quirks. We have loved every second of watching them grow into confident, creative little human beings. We are only a door away and can’t wait to see them continue to grow in their next classroom!

What Have the Sprouts Been Learning About?

This month, we have been exploring different ways to use paper to expand our creative expression through fall arts and crafts! Our Sprouts loved gluing googly eyes onto paper plate bats, creating their own jack-o’-lanterns, using dot markers to make a bubbling cauldron, and working together to build a beautiful fall tree with color-changing leaves!

 What Will They Explore Next?

The Sprouts have been having a wonderful time during our circle learning what it means to take care of ourselves and others. Our friends love dressing our babies up, swaddling them in blankets, and making sure they are cozy and warm. As cold weather is quickly approaching, we will explore clothing and how to dress appropriately for the changing seasons and temperatures!

This Little Sprout has been up to…

Jaxon has been practicing his balancing skills on the teeter-totters outside! He will stand on them almost in a split and rock back and forth without falling over; it is truly impressive.

Grady Goose has been loving playing chase outside; there’s no better way to get the zoomies out than a fun old-fashioned game of “Where is Grady”!

Declan, Cadence, and Violet have been playing house and doggy together! They love dramatic play, and it’s so fun to watch their little “house” characters’ personalities come to life.

Lily and Elle have been doing “story times” with each other, where they take turns sitting on each other’s laps and reading a book aloud — it’s just too cute

Georgia Bean has officially joined the bike club. She’s been LOVING zooming around the track; she can’t be stopped!

Important Reminders

With Bends constantly experiencing changing temperatures, please ensure your kids have a variety of clothing options (e.g., long/short sleeves, pants, socks, sweaters, outdoor shoes, gloves, and hats)!
