Dear Big Seed Families,

We loved jumping right into fall with our Big Seeds as much as they enjoyed jumping in piles of leaves outside. Oh, and did you hear all those BOO’s at home because we sure did here.

We jumped into Fall in October!! We jumped in piles of leaves outside and threw them over our heads! We also learned that we can pick leaves to create our own trees. We had lots of fun creating spiders and exploring the sensory table.

Good Bye:

Beckham, Colette, Lonnie, Maz, & Wolf will be moving over to Sprout 1 on November 3rd. Will will miss their smiles, determination, silliness, and their families. We will check in with them, but know that they will enjoy all that Ms. Samantha and Ms. Teresa have to offer.

Welcome:

Jack and Theo will be joining the Big Seeds from the Seed room. They have been visiting and thriving during their visits.

Ms Kendra has joined the Big Seed room. She has many years of experience and has been our float teacher for a bit. She is looking forward to introducing herself to you.

We said goodbye to Maria. We wish her well on her new adventure.

Big Seed Moments:

  • Beckham has been working really hard on his cleanup skills. He tries to spot any toys that we call out, and you can bet he makes sure they’re in the correct bin.
  • Colette has been enjoying cooking in the play kitchen and feeding our baby dolls while entertaining them with a bit of dance to “hop little bunnies.”
  • Lonnie has been doing amazing with his transitions and helps walk over with friends after outside time. He has also been learning how to say friends’ names like “ Maz and Thomas”
  • Maz is learning to keep up with friends when following the leader. He has become a pro at stacking the pegs on the boards; he can make stacks of up to 15 pegs.
  • Milo loves to sit down with his teachers and read a good book. His current favorite book is brown bear.
  • Ollie: Oliver is going to be a rock climber! He is constantly figuring out how to get his feet off the ground. He is definitely not afraid of heights!
  • Thomas loves sitting down with his teachers to read a good book. His current favorite book is brown bear.
Wolf has been enjoying sitting down for circle time and getting involved during our circle time songs. He has mastered most of our hand motions for our songs.
