2026 July Sprout 1 News

Sprout 1 Families

As I opened this, Teresa and I couldn’t believe we are already heading into July. Time flies when you’re having fun with your besties, and boy, are we! We have been loving this gorgeous weather and cooling off with water play! We enjoy setting up paintbrushes and water cups to create pavement art, or bringing out our toy houses so the kids can paint them. We also have a water table outside where our friends love playing with balls, sponges, and boats! I won’t lie, even I indulge in some water play now and then, running through the sprinkler with my besties.

This past month, we’ve been focusing on building with blocks, magnatiles, ice cream cones, and connectors! The kids get so creative with their ideas, and we love watching their visions come to life. We’ve built garages for our cars, hotels for our animals, big towers, and roads for trucks! This month, we’ll be diving into summer fun with beach and ball activities! Woohoo!! Shoes on! We have been working hard on our fine motor skills. He even helps Ms. Sam put on her socks and sneakers for the gym!

Upcoming Dates

  • July 3rd- Closed for Holiday
  • July 15th- Family BBQ

In July, one of our friends from the Big Seed room will be joining us! Jack has been joining Sprouts during our playtime to ease his way into the classroom! Our friends have been so welcoming and can’t wait for Jack to be a Sprout with us!

That said, we will be saying goodbye to one of our besties, Colette! She will be spending the rest of her summer with her family before heading to the Buds! We will miss our spunky bestie so much, and we are sending her so much love on her next adventures!

Reminders

Please change out your kiddos’ winter extra clothes for summer clothes. With the weather getting hotter, we want to make sure your kiddos are staying nice and cool! If you have extra water shoes and haven’t brought some in already, please do so. It is helpful to have during water play so sneakers don’t get wet and feet don’t get too hot on the ground!

This Little Sprout..

Levon has fallen in love! No matter what he is doing you can promise the book “My Big Truck Book” is not far away!

Beckham has been handling the bubble monster! Every day before nap, we blow the bubble monster away (practicing deep breaths) and run from it (get out our zoomies)!

Crew has been our master cleaner! Every time it’s time to tidy up the classroom, he jumps right in! There have even been times when we ask another friend to pick something up, and he runs over to help!

Lonnie, our musical king, jammed out with Sammy and Reesa to “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Had to clear some extra space because he was rocking out so hard! Safe to say he is a fan!

Maz had a life-changing moment this week, seeing a real police motorcycle! We were about to go inside and went to his favorite corner to find him. There he was, in awe! The officer was kind enough to give me some stickers to make saying goodbye to the motorcycle easier.

Jack has joined our Sprout 1 posse. He moved over from the Big Seed classroom and has fit in quite well. Welcome, Jack and his parents, Matt and Monica

Hope you all have had a great June and can’t wait for July’s adventures. As always, we are so grateful for all of you and the memories we make with your wonderful kiddos!

Love,

Samantha and Teresa (aka Sammy and Reesa)
