Dear Sprout Families,
I can’t believe how fast September flew by! We have some new faces in the Sprout 1 room, so we spent this month focusing on building connections with one another and learning our classroom routines. It has been a great treat getting to know every one of your children, and we look forward to strengthening our bonds even further in our classroom.
What Have the Sprouts Been Learning About?
This month, we have been exploring brushes and their various uses in the world! We practiced brushing our stuffed animals’ fur with hairbrushes, brushing our baby dolls’ teeth with toothbrushes, using scrub brushes to clean our ‘dishes’, painting with paintbrushes, and using dustpans and sweeping brushes to help clean up messes!
What Will They Explore Next?
The Sprouts have been having a great time during our ‘mindful playtime’ doing art! In October, we will delve deeper into the various ways we can utilize paper for our fun fall arts and crafts! We can’t wait to share with you in the next Sprout 1newsletter what these friends will create and all the ways paper can expand their creative expression!
Important Reminders
With Bends’ ever-changing temperatures, please ensure your kids have a variety of clothing options (e.g., long/short sleeves, shorts/pants, socks, sweaters, outdoor shoes).
Happy Harvest will take place on October 4th from 10 to 11:30 am at DD Ranch! Can’t wait to see you all and enjoy some fun fall festivities!
This Little Sprout has been up to….
Violet and Cadence have been SO attentive to our baby dolls and making sure they are fed and swaddled at all times!
Jaxon and Grady have been LOVING the bikes and even rode one together (yes, there is photographic evidence)
Declan has been practicing his chef skills and chopping up our food and even sharing a ‘bite’ with his teachers and friends!
If you are ever wondering where Lily and Elle are, the answer will most likely be either grooving to some music or playing with their favorite puppy toys!
Georgia has been having a blast getting to know all of her Sprout friends and walking laps around the playground holding hands with them!
