We cannot believe August is over and a new school year is beginning. We said “see you outside” to our friends Bodhi, Elliotte, Luke, and Roman as they transitioned to Big Seeds! We will miss them so much, but we look forward to getting to know our new friends, Bowie, Ford, and Margot! Asher, Josephine, Lucy, and Rowan will continue in our class until their move-up dates, closer to their first birthdays!
Teacher introductions:
Miss Jo has been with Growing Tree for 20 years! Outside of work, she spends her time biking, swimming, surfing, camping, and taking trips to the coast with her three Growing Tree graduates! Ms Jo enjoys a morning run and a cup of coffee to get her through the day. You’ll catch her at work 7:30-4:30!
Miss Blanca has been with Growing Tree for 2 years! You can find Ms Blanca bouncing between Seedlings and Big Seed, and is a vital part of our team! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kiddos. They frequently go on walks, swim, and cook together! Ms Blanca works 7:45-3:00.
Miss Danielle has been with Growing Tree for almost a year since she moved to Bend, but has been working in childcare for over 10 years! She enjoys playing tennis, paddleboarding, and painting in her spare time. You’ll find her in class 8:30-5:30.
Helpful tips:
- Communication between teachers and parents is vital to creating the best routines for your child! Please let us know daily via a message on Brightwheel what time your child woke up and when they last had a bottle. If your child has any new developments at home, please let us know! We are happy to help any way we can!
- Please label all your children’s items that come to school, including clothing, packages of diapers, wipes, sleep sacks, binkies, bottles, breast milk, or formula.
- Please bring a sleep sack from home each Monday morning at drop-off and take it home to wash every Friday evening at pickup!
- Please bring a family photo for our Seed Board!
- You can reach out to us through the Brightwheel app. We will update your kiddo’s dossier throughout the day with diaper changes, feedings, photos, and more.
- Our classroom is the only one in the center that uses individualized schedules. Throughout the day, at least one baby is usually sleeping, so please be mindful when entering our classroom or the crib room.
- Please let us know about any upcoming vacation dates or doctor appointments.
