Dear Big Seed Families,
This month, our young learners will explore tunnels and tubes! By rolling, dropping, crawling, and peeking, our Big Seeds are discovering how objects move through space. We will use simple items like cardboard tubes and soft tunnels to support early problem solving, coordination, and curiosity—all through playful exploration.

February Highlights:
Thomas enjoyed exploring boxes by stacking them and crawling through them like tunnels. He is also practicing throwing away his wet paper towel independently.
Milo has been so helpful. He has been bringing friends their shoes and jackets during the outside transition.
Theo has started walking around our classroom, and is quite quick!
Jack has also begun taking unassisted steps around our classroom and enjoys crashing into any of his teachers’ arms for snuggles.
Ren is exploring her new classroom by crawling around. She also loves pulling herself up to standing in our play kitchen.
Hudson has been enjoying pulling himself up to a standing position on the climber while other friends are there.
Avery has been exploring her new classroom and enjoying time with her new friends.
Goodbye:
Milo &Thomas moved up to the Sprouts classroom with Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Yesenia. We will miss them both, but know that they are ready and will continue to do so well!
Weather Alert:
Cold weather is here! We want to be prepared for those chilly days. Please make sure your child wears comfortable layers. The Big Seeds play outside several times a day, year-round. We would appreciate your child having the following items at school:
- One-piece snowsuit (with cuffed mitten sleeves are appreciated)
- Two pairs of mittens
- Winter boots
- Hat
