Dear Blossom Families,

Hello! We are so excited to welcome our new Blossom Class of 2025/2026. We hope you are experiencing a peaceful transition to a new classroom and school year.

Our first month will be dedicated to acclimating to the Blossom classroom and focusing on the five principles, of Life Skills.

  • 1. Respectful
  • 2. Responsible
  • 3. Patient
  • 4. Careful
  • 5. Helpful

Meet the Teachers:

Ms Madeline: Hello, everyone! I feel incredibly grateful to spend this year with your amazing kiddos. My name is Miss Madeline, and I am originally from Utah. I’ve been at Growing Tree for as long as I’ve been in Oregon (this starts my fourth year!). This is my third year in the Blossom classroom, and I am grateful every day to spend my weeks with the funniest, kindest kids in town. A little bit about me: I am an avid reader and a hiker (especially to waterfalls). I love art, poetry, theatre, and philosophy. It is always a joy to see how many of these things that I love come up in the classroom! I strongly advocate for the importance of growth through discovery and believe that a lifelong love of learning begins at a young age. Children learn through the example we set, so let that example be filled with passion, kindness, and exploration! Welcome to Blossoms!

Ms. Stephanie: Hello, everyone! I’ve met some of you during pickup time in the Blossom room. I’m so excited to get to know this fun and creative group of learners! I grew up in Coos Bay and visited my grandparents in Portland and Lakeview during my childhood. I’m thrilled to be back in Oregon! I moved to Bend this year from Seattle, where I worked as a preschool teacher, teacher trainer, and behavior therapist. I have three adult children living in Wisconsin, Georgia, and Seattle. When I’m not spending time with my parents near Sunriver, I enjoy relaxing in my backyard, reading books, and exploring this beautiful city. My heart is in the Pre-K classroom, and I’m honored to be part of the great team at Growing Tree!

All of us in the Blossom room are excited to get to know your family and grow together throughout the year. We look forward to exploring many studies, including artists, gardening, and Oregon animals!

Some small things to keep in mind:

  • Please ensure your child has a change of clothing to keep in their cubby. Accidents still happen, as well as big messes, or the need to change clothes for comfort! Having a sweater or jacket on hand for the colder weather coming is always a great idea.
  • Please help us stay organized throughout the year by labeling your child’s clothing or extraneous items that come into our room.
  • Please ensure that toys remain at home. We’ve got many wonderful toys here in the classroom that we won’t be nervous about breaking!

Miss Madeline, Ms. Stephanie, Mr Keegan
