Dear Big Seed Families,
As we start the new year, we will kick off our Bubbles and Balls Study. Our classroom will be filled with bouncing, rolling, and bubbly fun! With this hands-on theme, we will give our toddlers plenty of opportunities to explore with their senses. As children roll soft balls, watch bubbles float, and reach, crawl, or toddle after them, they will be developing early motor skills and curiosity. We are eager to enjoy these moments of discovery together!
January Books:
- Rosa Plays Ball
- The Ball Book
- Love is a Ball
- Bubbles.
Songs:
- Sticky Bubble
- Gum & A Circle is Like a Ball

January Highlights:
Thomas enjoyed exploring boxes by stacking them and crawling through them like tunnels. He is also practicing throwing away his wet paper towel independently.
Theo is discovering all the new places he can explore. He enjoys making new friends and confidently engages in both social and independent play.
Milo has learned to stand on his tiptoes and is practicing tossing away his wet paper towel.
Jack enjoys exploring the sensory table, pushing toys and practicing walking while holding hands with teachers.
Welcome:
Avery, Hudson & Ren: will be joining the Big Seeds from the Seed room. They have been visiting and thriving.
Weather Alert:
Cold weather is here! We want to be prepared for those chilly days. Please make sure your child wears comfortable layers. The Big Seeds do play outside several times a day all year long. We would appreciate your child having the following items at school:
- One-piece snowsuit (with cuffed mitten sleeves are appreciated)
- Two pairs of mittens
- Winter boots
- Hat
Reminders:
We hope to fill up our family tree this year. Feel free to participate and bring a family picture in. Thank you to those who have participated!
Warmed Regards,
Ms. Kelly, Ms. Kendra & Ms. Blanca
