DD Ranch
We look forward to seeing you all at the DD Ranch in Terrebonne on Saturday, October 5th. Please pay at the front desk no later than Friday, October 4th. Cost $8 per child 25 months and older; Adults $5 for hayride.
School Pictures
Pictures are scheduled for October 24th and 25th. Order form is at the top of the newsletterOctober 24th: Seeds, Big Seeds, Sprouts, Buds, & SiblingsOctober 25th: Branch, Blossom, & Class picturesPlease note: When we take sibling pictures we take their individual pictures at the same time. So if your Branch or Blossom has a sibling we will take all of their pictures on the 24th not the 25thPlease no outfit changesClass pictures will begin promptly @10am on Friday 5th. Please make sure you are here 10 minutes early so not to be left out
Annual Poinsettia Sale
It's crazy, but it's time for Growing Tree's Annual Poinsettia Sale. Proceeds this year will be used for Center upgrades and staff support. Please use the Poinsettia form located at the top of the newsletter to distribute to your family, friends, co-workers and especially businesses you frequent.
- Order forms and payments are due by October 25th
- Checks should be made payable to Growing Tree
- Plants will be delivered the week of December 2nd
We really appreciate your support. As a bonus you will receive one (1) volunteer hour for every two (2) plants you sell!
October 31st
On October 31st Growing Tree celebrates TEAM Day. Please dress your child in their favorite teams apparel. This can be any team... team disney, team OSU etc. Please no Halloween costumes, we would feel terrible if pieces were lost or damaged. Also on this day we will have a Center wide parade on the playground and Matt will serve a special snack. Please do not bring in any special treats, but thank you anyway .
Remind
Remind is a text messaging service that Growing Tree primarily uses to notify you in the case of an emergency or a reminder. As a test, on Friday September 27th @noon I will be sending a REMIND message regarding the DD Ranch. If you do not receive the message could you please check in with me . Thank you
Annual Updates
In October we ask that you check in with Teresa or myself to complete the annual paperwork updates: it should take less than 5 minutes as most everything just needs a signature. Thank you

Toys
Growing Tree has a Center wide policy regarding toys. We ask that your child not bring toys from home. Most children have a difficult time sharing with their peers so bringing toys from home creates unnecessary conflict for everyone. The toys in the room belong to everyone and we typically have several of each toy. Please tell your child that they will need to leave the toy in their carseat and it will be waiting for them when you pick them up. Please do not leave toys in child's cubby. Note: a small stuffy for naptime is appropriate.
Boon Supply Fundraiser
Boon Supply orders were delivered! Thank you to all that participated. Growing Tree raised closed to $900. You can order at anytime using this link Boone Supply and Growing Tree will receive 40% of the proceeds

Volunteer Hours
The following are volunteer opportunities:
- Volunteer hours are not pro-rated in the event you withdraw from the Center prior to December 31st.
- Sell Poinsettias

- Rake leaves
- Clean gutters
- Clean out drains on playground
Board Meeting:
Our next Growing Tree Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, 600pm @ COLE/BREIT Engineering. .

First Friday:
First Friday will be held on Friday, October 4th. Cost is $25 per child. Next month First Friday will be on November 1st. Please pay when you sign up as we now have limited slots. Just a reminder, if you cancel after signing up, you will still be responsible for First Friday fees.
