Be Creative @ Your Library is the
focus of the 2009 Summer Reading Program at the Deschutes
Public Library for children ages 0-11. Children who read or listen to books for at least 3 hours earn a free book, local coupons, prizes and an opportunity to win a beautiful book and puppet..
Since
the Deschutes Public Library's bookmobile program, the Book Buggy, visits the
Growing Tree, it is very easy for children to participate in this program that
is sponsored by the Oregon State Library's Ready to Read Grant.
Summer Book Buggy Schedule: Tuesdays 300pm - 415pm
June 30th; July 14th & 28th; August 11th & 25th
